PCG's Google Cloud unit is the first local partner in Germany to be awarded the coveted Google MSP status.
After the long-standing award as Google Premier Partner, the Google Cloud unit of PCG now follows up with the MSP status.
The Google Cloud unit of the PCG is to be expanded from the current 70 experts to around 100 by the end of the year.

Cloudwürdig, part of Public Cloud Group (PCG), has been awarded the”Managed Service Provider” (MSP) by Google Cloud based on their performance in the areas of cloud infrastructure, cloud migration and cloud services.
As a recognized MSP, Cloudwürdig has demonstrated expertise across a wide range of Google Cloud services through a decade-long partnership.
With the required experience, certifications and specializations such as “Infrastructure Services” and “Cloud Migration Services”, Cloudwürdig, as Part of PCG, is the first Google Cloud Managed Service Provider partner based in Germany. The MSP designation is based in part on the company’s track record of successful projects with customers such as E.ON, Burger King, Breuninger, USU, Meister, Finstreet, Bergfreunde and Hess Natur.
“We are pleased to recognize Cloudwürdig as a Google Cloud Managed Service Provider. Cloudwürdig has earned its place, both through its years of distinction and success as a partner and most recently through its MSP status,” said Dietmar Meding, Director Partner Business Germany at Google Cloud.
Cloudwürdig has been part of PCG since 2021, and represents the Google Cloud part in the German-speaking region of the group. PCG brings together more than 350 Cloud experts.
“Since day one, we have relied exclusively on Google Cloud solutions. We are proud to have achieved MSP status. This means a lot to us and shows us that our expertise and the quality of our services are seen and recognized not only by our customers, but also by our long-time hyperscaler partner Google Cloud,” said Benny Woletz, Managing Director at Cloudwürdig.
The MSP status also means a number of advantages for the customers who are supported by PCG in their Google Cloud environment, both during the initial set-up and during the continuous further development and operation.
MSP status distinguishes PCG’s proprietary processes, solutions and, most importantly, expertise as reliable, secure and technologically sustainable. Security, efficiency and technology are three of the key factors that speak for the cloud, on which PCG customers can now trust all the more after achieving the MSP status with Google Cloud. The MSP status also offers the opportunity to offer new service offerings at attractive conditions and in close coordination with Google Cloud.

In addition, the visibility within the Google Partner Network continues to increase. Especially for German-speaking customers, PCG as an MSP is one of the most advantageous options in the choice of partner.
“Regionality is our big plus. International consulting and IT groups queue up to be included on the short list of Google Cloud MSP partners. We understand German-speaking SMEs and enterprise companies because we are simply cut from the same cloth. In terms of expertise, professionalism and experience, we can compete at all levels,” added Oliver Schallhorn, CEO of PCG.
Future plans of Cloudwürdig are also geared towards growth. Within PCG, the Google Cloud unit in Germany has plans to expand from around 70 experts to 100 by the end of the year. This will also be accompanied by the number of personal Google Cloud certifications, which can be translated into faster provisioning and broader expertise for customers. The development of further Google Cloud specializations is also being planned.
The Public Cloud Group (PCG) supports companies in their digital transformation through the use of public cloud solutions. As an experienced partner of all relevant hyperscalers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure), PCG holds the highest awards of the respective providers and advises its customers independently.
The group combines the cloud service providers Cloudwürdig GmbH, Innovations ON GmbH, DI-ON.solutions GmbH, Miracle Mill AG, SWITCOM GmbH and LNW-Soft GmbH and thus bundles the know-how of over 350 employees at fourteen locations in the EU. The company’s headquarters are located in Ulm.
PCG’s more than 1150 customers include Allianz, BurgerKing, Flaconi, Generali, HelloFresh, KlassikRadio, Linde Group, Lorenz, McDonalds, myposter, N26, Veolia, Viessmann and many other companies, primarily from the upper midmarket as well as public and private educational institutions.
